Just a reminder that tomorrow is the virtual run for Sherry Arnold. For more about the run and Sherry, see Beth’s post here at Shut Up and Run.

If you live in the Seattle area and would like to meet up with a bunch of cool women runners, please contact me at kerrie (at) sanitydepartment (dot) com for the time and location. For all of you that are planning on being there, looking forward to seeing you and running in Sherry’s memory.

Please read this article, “Runing to Heal,” about Sherry, the virtual race and what we should be doing to ensure the safety of women who want to be active outdoors.

Hope everyone has a great run this weekend!

I love this sentence… “It is not so much an individual woman’s responsibility to always take safety precautions as it is a community’s responsibility to respect women’s safety.” This was a great piece. Thanks for linking it :)
